Enjoy Your Stay in One of Our Charming Seaside Cottages

Each of our eight cottages have their own name and special attributes but all are loaded with rustic charm, vintage appointments and gorgeous granite fireplaces, stocked with seasoned firewood daily.  Westerly and Homesteads East and West (separate cottage that can be linked) sit right on the sea. Oak Grove perches atop a bluff right above a beach, with an expansive view of Eggemoggin Reach.  Ledges is considered the “honeymoon” cottage for its private wooded location, while Grindstone and Flagstaff, with their ample porches, are both surrounded by trees but provide a peek of the Reach. Birches is in a class by itself, with a ground-level patio overlooking the gardens and the inn.

Perched on a grassy knoll with a ground-level deck overlooking the inn and gardens, Birches’ expansive views and private setting make this a much-loved cottage, not just because it is one of our two dog-friendly options. There’s a separate bedroom with queen bed, sleeper couch and dining table in the living room and granite fireplace.

The kitchen has two cooktop burners, small oven and microwave, with full-size refrigerator. Bathroom has a tub and shower. Sleeps four.

Porch rockers provide for a comfortable wooded view of the Reach below. Its living room has a granite fireplace and a hide-a-bed couch. There’s a full bathroom with tub and shower, and a new full kitchen with campy pantry and sink room.
